The meeting was held as scheduled this morning at 9:30am. The ABC Attorney
requested a continuance (postponement) of the hearing. The reason for this
request was that he had received a large volume of highly technical documents
from the Tribe last Friday regarding the fire safety issues pertaining to
the casino. The ABC Attorneys did not have adequate time to cross-examine
the witnesses or to thoroughly evaluate the information.
The Judge granted the continuance.
At this point, the date for the next hearing has not been set. We will keep
you informed of developments when we have more information.
We would like to thank the large number of community members who made an effort
to attend the hearing.
