2. Application

Preparation:

• Clean the surface where you will attach the emitter with a mild cleaning solution (e.g., rubbing alcohol) and allow it to dry completely.

• Locate the IR sensor on your device. Use a flashlight or phone's light if needed.

Placement:

• Testing: Before applying the adhesive permanently, test the LED positioning to ensure:

  1. The sensor receives a reliable signal.

  2. You can still control using the devices OEM remote for troubleshooting.

• Adhesive: Once satisfied with the placement, apply the adhesive backing of the emitter.
